Hey Luke/Strider, Great to have you veer off the trial and show up at my home for a questionable cup of hot chocolate. It was great to learn about your trip thus far and the continued venture. I hope your stay at Copper Falls State Park was restful even with the rain falling, I'm sure the cold beverages were helpful. If your still in need of an inflatable sleeping pad let me know and I'll send you one, just need an address. Good luck, eyes forward, one step at a time, the end is coming. Your spirited drive, Mike.

Just checking in on your progress. Did your folks get the copy of the Gazette with your story? Hope they enjoyed it. Sure wish I could send you some more of that wonderful chocolate brownie from Hodenattes on Main in Lisbon! Keep treking, you are doing great! Jeanne of the RC Gazette

You're coming close to us near the Manistee River Trail. We'd love to bring you some trail magic.

We were following your tracks this weekend. We hiked from Otter Lake to Judge Magney. Saw your register entry at the Otter Lake trailhead. Good luck. nboyer941@comcast.net

Met Strider on the Superior Hiking Trail a couple days ago. Had to look him up when I got off trail. Best of luck to you!

Luke, A fellow hiker, Jon Potter, is headed towards you and hopes to meet you on the trail. He left Munising on May 5 and Marquette on May 10 heading west. And, when you get near Marquette, give me a jingle. You are welcome to spend a night or two in the same room where Andrew Skurka, Nimblewill Nomad, Joan Young, and other less well known long distance hikers have slept. The NCT Hikers Chapter welcomes you to our portion of the trail and possibly get some media coverage. 906-226-6210 or nct@northcountrytrail.org

Remember me. Your grandmother would be so proud of you. Just the kind of thing she would love. I see a lot of your aunt jean. It sounds like you are meeting a lot of supportive people . You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love being able to keep up with you on my iPad. Irene
